What’s SCWI?
The School-College-Work Initiative (SCWI) was founded to help secondary school students graduate with their Ontario Secondary School Diploma and facilitate their transition to college. SCWI has developed dual credit programs to help secondary school students earn a college credit. SCWI also provides a wide range of learning and college awareness initiatives for students, teachers, and parents.
SCWI is a collaboration between the Council of Ontario Directors of Education (CODE) and the Committee of College Presidents (COP). SCWI is funded by Ontario’s Ministries of Education, Colleges and Universities, as well as Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development, and is made possible by partnerships with school boards and colleges across Ontario.
