- An early years consultant in Halton Catholic District School Board was a key member of the board team in the Literacy and Numeracy Secretariat's kindergarten-grade one collaborative inquiry project and the CODE JK-Grade 1 project. This allowed for the sharing of best practices related to students in the early years to a variety of audiences at the school and board levels. [Toronto and Area Region Final Report]
- In Wellington Catholic District School Board, "Transfer of Information" pages are used to transfer data about students from junior kindergarten to kindergarten and from kindergarten to grade one. The "Transfer of Information" pages are aligned with the board's Teaching Learning Critical Pathways (TLCPs) model.
